This is the family member information center for the Association of Coley Family Members and its leadership. Included on this site are decendants of Ashley Coley, Sr., their achievements, projects, events and communications. This site is intended as a unifying and community building tool for the family. May it serve to unite us in goodwill and service.
One of the projects that the association is currently engaged in, is the building the Mary Francis Hill Coley Scholarship Endowment Fund to honor her work, life and values. Another project that the family has undertaken is the building of an extensive history of the family. All family members are encouraged and welcome to contribute.
Currently an exhibition highlighting Mary "Miss Mary" Coley's work as a midwife, curated by Linda Janet Holmes featuring Robert Galbraith's outstanding stills from making of the Award-winning documentary "All My Babies: A Midwife's Own Story (Director, George Stoney, Prof of Film at Tisch School of Film, New York University) is running at the Smithsonian's Anacostia Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. A number of family members also appeared in the documentary and are included in the stills in the exhibition. The exhibition will be traveling throughout the United States.
